Its Quick Start Guide lets you set up preferences for the categories of catalog files, display theme and backup reminder. You can view tutorial and read instruction about various useful functions. You can also manage workspaces, import images from memory or disk, export or edit batches, create albums or disks, configure slideshows, share images to social networking sites, configure external editors and can see the various properties and characteristics of your images. You can sort images through folders, catalogs, collections and calendars.
While viewing the images in ACDSee, you can rotate them, add to image basket, scroll, select, zoom, view in full screen, apply actions, adjust light and choose type of lens. The detailed information about the selected image is displayed on the screen to help you work easily. With image editing and development options, you can repair defects, add effects or text, add geometry tools and adjust exposure, lighting, color and detail of pictures. You can also adjust white balance, contrast and focus and can split and crop your images.
